Qualified Accountant

Our client is a well-established Accountancy Practice and Financial Planners who've been serving the northeast for over 80 years. Our client is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their newly expanded finance team, the ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience working in practice as well as accounts preparation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Immersed in all areas of accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, companies.
• Responsible for the preparation of audited accounts providing financial clarity to clients.
• Preparation of all tax returns helping clients build their financial success.
• Preparation of statutory returns
• Assisting with client audits
• Bookkeeping & Payroll calculations, your attention to detail will be of financial benefit to the clients.
• Assisting partners on special client assignments which in turn will broaden your accounting horizons.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Newly Qualified Accountant ACA OR ACCA OR Equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Full driver's license and access to a car.
• A good working knowledge of accounts production, audit, and taxation.
• Strong communication skills, confident in client interaction.
• Strong IT skills.
• Willing to work in the office and on site with clients.
