Specification Technologist/Internal Auditor (Fixed Term Contract)
Sanderson is working with a well known FMCG and they’re looking for a specification technologist to join their team. 3+ years experience in food manufacturing is crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain product specifications.
• Ensure compliance of raw materials and finished products.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with teams for accurate documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review artwork and packaging for compliance.
• Participate in supplier audits.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation.
• Support product launches and modifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Familiarity with HACCP, BRC, and food safety standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Experience in conducting audits preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of food legislation and labelling regulations.
• Experience with retailer specification systems.
• Proficiency in product development and project management.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and supplier management.
• Understanding of food safety management systems and testing methods.
