Health & Safety Co Ordinator
Sanderson is working with a well known FMCG and they’re looking for a talented health and safety co-ordinator to join their team. At least 5 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment is desired for this role.
Responsibilities

• Implementing safety protocols, training, and reporting.
• Promoting an injury-free workplace.
• Reviewing policies to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborating with management for awareness and compliance.
• Addressing Health & Safety issues with maintenance and production.
• Keeping up with legislative changes and recommending updates.
• Conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance.
• Managing accident reporting and investigations.
• Supervising fire marshals and Health & Safety reps.
• Maintaining up-to-date safety plans and records.
• Leading the Health & Safety team.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or diploma.
• Five years of experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety laws.
• Skills in organisation, communication, and process improvement.
• Proactive, collaborative, and motivated attitude.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
