Logistics Project Manager
Sanderson have teamed up with a leading manufacturing company to recruit a Logistics Project Manager to help lead and build out their G-LOC team in Ireland.

They are looking for a seasoned professional who thrives on developing hubs, enhancing transportation management platforms, and leading a dynamic team towards success.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team, ensuring seamless organization and task delivery.
  • Manage shift systems to meet the requirements of Regional and Country Hubs.
  • Recruit, nurture, and develop a team committed to excellence and exceptional service.
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance team skills and foster growth.
  • Champion learning platforms to support continuous development and innovation.
  • Conduct insightful performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Drive the growth of our G-LOC operation through strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee the setup of new hubs and IT infrastructure projects.
  • Establish a Project Management Office (PMO) within G-LOC for efficient operations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Guide strategic analysis and project phases to ensure on-time completion.
  • Manage project communications effectively and mitigate risks proactively.
  • Perform other duties as directed, contributing to the success of our logistics endeavours.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in IT/Logistics Project Management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in logistics projects with expertise in Transportation Management Platforms.
  • Proficiency in waterfall or agile methodologies, along with Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Proven history of successful project deliveries within the Logistics and Transportation sector.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities coupled with experience in team supervision.
  • Adaptability in dynamic environments, adept at setting and managing priorities.
  • Highly organized, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills such as French, Spanish, German, or Chinese are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a talent for stakeholder management.
  • Experience working in global, multicultural teams and matrix organizations.
  • Willingness to travel globally, up to 50% of the time; a driver's license is preferred.
