HR Business Partner - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Role Summary

This role is offered on a fixed-term maternity cover basis (minimum 12 months), and candidates must be available to commit to the full contract duration.

This is an HR Business Partner role where you will support a defined business unit, providing both strategic and operational HR support to drive performance, engagement and retention.

Location: Dublin (hybrid 3 in 2 wfh)

Reporting to: Senior HR Business Partner

Contract: Minimum 12-month fixed term contract

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Business Unit leadership team to deliver the people strategy
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit
  • Lead workforce and resource planning to ensure future capability needs are met
  • Support and coach managers on performance and probation management
  • Develop and implement employee retention initiatives
  • Lead and advise on disciplinary investigations and hearings
  • Drive talent management and succession planning with clear action planning
  • Prepare and present HR updates, data and people metrics at leadership level
  • Oversee the annual pay review process
  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance across the business
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices

Experience

  • Strong experience in an HRBP or senior HR Generalist role
  • Strong influencing, coaching and presentation capability
  • Resilient and confident, able to operate in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g. HRIS platforms such as Advanced HR or similar)

Qualifications

  • Relevant third-level qualification in HR, Business or related discipline
  • CIPD membership desirable but not essential
