Sanderson are partnering with a public sector group to recruit for a Finance Systems Supervisor on an 11-month fixed term contract, this role has a view to permanency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is passionate about delivering excellent system support and service to end users.
The Finance Systems Supervisor will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the group's financial systems. This is a hands‑on supervisory role with responsibility for overseeing the Finance helpdesk, supporting core financial systems including Agresso ERP, and contributing to ongoing transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the Finance helpdesk, ensuring all tickets are managed in line with SLA response times.
- Conduct compliance reviews of financial systems user accounts.
- Develop ticket templates for new helpdesk requirements.
- Respond to IT audit queries, including those related to user access and workflow.
- Manage and escalate helpdesk tickets to application or technical teams where required.
- Maintain and update the helpdesk knowledge base.
- Promote a customer‑centric approach across all helpdesk activities.
- Produce operational KPI reports and contribute insights to the Finance Transformation agenda.
- Supervise and support key financial systems, including Agresso ERP, FP&A, and RCP, providing troubleshooting and escalating issues to internal or vendor teams.
- Participate in projects to enhance processes, upgrade systems, and implement new functionality.
- Deliver training to Finance staff and end users.
- Assist in the development of training materials.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- NFQ Level 7 Degree or a Qualified Accountant
- At least four years' experience in a Finance Office working with large financial information systems.
- Agresso ERP Experience
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Experience working with financial systems in a complex operating environment.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues within one or more Agresso modules.
- Experience training and supporting end users on Agresso functionality.
- Familiarity with workflow management and optimisation.
- Understanding of Agresso system administration.
- Participation in cross‑functional process improvement initiatives using Agresso ERP.
