The Puzzle of Motivation

What we all really want is high performance from our people, but how do we achieve this? What is the secret of high performance and work satisfaction in today’s world – and what is the best way of influencing this? It is evident that these questions have become one of the most talked about topics not only in the HR world but as part of the general business management agenda.

In his TED Talk 'The Puzzle of Motivation', Career Analyst Dan Pink, examines this topic suggesting that traditional rewards aren’t always as effective as we think, restricting our creativity in some cases.

To explore this further and try to find some answers to these questions, some of the UK’s leading HR professionals representing a variety of industries will be joining the next RSG Round Table Debate, 'The Puzzle of Motivation'. The dinner to be held at Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill, London, will be led by Andrea Cartwright, HR Director of the rapidly growing high street fashion retailer Superdry.

If you feel you could contribute to the Debate and would be interested in attending, please email amy.gooderham@rsg-plc.com.
