This is a great opportunity to appoint a Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist supporting this company's growth across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The role focuses on building and strengthening supplier and subcontractor networks across multiple technical trades. You will work closely with procurement, commercial and project teams. The focus is delivery, market engagement and supplier onboarding.

Role Overview

You will identify, engage and onboard suppliers to the construction industry. This is a hands on role which is relationship driven and using internal data and supply chain insights.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor sourcing and market engagement

• Identify and prequalify suppliers across the key trades.
• Engage directly with vendors to assess capability and capacity.
• Map and meet with supplier/vendors from across the German, Austrian and Swiss regions.

Supply chain gap support

• Use internal data to identify gaps and pressure points
• Source suppliers to support project and category needs
• Share clear supplier insights with internal stakeholders

Vendor/Supplier meetings and information flow

• Attend supplier meetings and site visits
• Capture and share key commercial and technical information
• Build long term supplier relationships

Supplier Onboarding and compliance

• Support vendors through onboarding processes
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant
• Work closely with commercial, legal and HSQE teams

Industry engagement

• Attend trade events and supplier forums
• Identify new suppliers and emerging capabilities

Experience and skills

• Minimum 5 years in sourcing, procurement or supply chain
• Experience in construction, engineering or mission critical environments
• Strong understanding of technical scopes and specifications
• Knowledge of subcontracting and procurement processes

Tools

• Comfortable working with data and dashboards
• Strong Excel and reporting skills

Additional requirements

• Willingness to travel across Europe for up to 2 weeks per month
• Ideally fluent in German and English
• EU work authorisation with no need for sponsorship.
