Procurement Officer
This position is a great opportunity to join an innovating company that offers room for progression and gives great exposure to the public sector.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the tender process from its initiation up to and including contract execution ensuring compliance with EU Public Procurement Directive, National Guidelines and company purchasing policies & procedures.
  • Liaise with and support management in relation to the negotiation, conclusion and management of contracts and other associated agreements.
  • Forge solid relationships with all key stakeholders with a view to developing robust and highly functional relationships between the group companies and suppliers.
  • Develop solid working relationships with business representatives (buyers) throughout the organization.
  • Achieve “value for money” solutions for the organisation, delivering and facilitating highly functional specifications and detailed requirements, working in cross-functional teams as appropriate
  • Work as part of the Procurement team undertaking additional responsibilities that will enhance the overall objectives of the team


Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Degree in Procurement, Finance or Business
  • A Project Management qualification would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of EU Directives and public procurement policies with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail.
