Capability Development Manager

Working closely with its innovative and people focused global client, Sanderson is looking for a commercially savvy and influential Sr Talent Manager to deliver on a newly created strategic HR role within the Group. You will have strong people development experience and the ability to influence at all levels as well as a proven track record in the delivery of L&D strategy that drives continuous and self-enabled learning.

The Role
Working closely the HR Director and Business, the new Capability Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Design and implement Talent Management initiatives to drive learning culture
  • In partnership with senior management develop a capability framework with a common goal of aligning capability to strategic business objectives
  • Own the learning agenda, providing best practice Learning support and solutions, and ensuring consistency in approach across the organisation
  • Embed the new Digital learning platform, and drive a culture of self-directed learning, enhancing the employee experience and building the learning offer.
  • Design & implement Performance and Leadership programmes to support People Leaders and drive high performance culture
  • Collaborate with the international Talent teams to ensure best practice is shared

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in Talent Management, with proven experience in design, development, implementation and measurement of development initiatives
  • Knowledge of principles and development initiatives associated with change
  • Excellent communicator, influencing skills and negotiation skills to get management buy-in on ideas and concepts
  • High level of awareness with the MCC code other professional body regulations
  • Ability to motivate a 5 person team and bring out the best in each individual
